Kate Ingalls-Maloney, Director
Kate Ingalls-Maloney, MA, Education and Learning Technology, is the Learning Lab Director. As a community faculty member at Metropolitan State University, Kate worked on a variety of instructional design projects, primarily in online learning, to facilitate course development and evaluation, and implement best practices. She also worked for the US WEST/Qwest Foundation to launch the Widening Our World Internet Outreach Program, conducting customized technology workshops in hospitals, municipal organizations, small businesses, youth groups, senior centers and other settings throughout Minnesota..
Lynn Taylor, Coordinator
Lynn Taylor, BA, is the Learning Lab Coordinator. Lynn has spent the past 15 years working in various industries, primarily in operations or sales. Several years ago, Lynn transitioned to the senior living industry and enjoys helping families learn about solutions that can make their lives easier and safer.
Larry Carpenter, Lab Assistant
Larry Carpenter began his career teaching math and science, both in the US and abroad. He then became a software engineer and spent 20 years at MTS Systems in Eden Prairie. Since retiring, Larry served as Executive Director of Toddler Food Partners, a small non-profit producing therapeutic foods for severely malnourished children in Haiti and India, and is the Lab Assistant for Augustana Care’s Learning Lab.
